Come Train with Us

Here at Fleet Feet Runer's Spot, we are excited to introduce our personalized training programs! Whether you are new to running or have tracked more miles in your running shoes than in your car, we are dedicated to help you reach your goals by providing a comprehensive training program and personal coach that will guide you every step of the way.

What to Expect

  • Introductory E-mail - You will receive an introductory e-mail from your coach within 48 hours of your sign-up. This e-mail will give you general information about the program, an outline of the program, and some informational tips about preparation for your program start.
  • Sunday prior to start date - You and your coach will schedule an in person, Skype session, or telephone call to get your week started. They will give you all of the documents that you need including your weekly training plan with targets for each daily workout.
  • Monday Day 1 - You will begin your training as discussed with your coach the day prior
  • Tuesday Day 2 - You will visit Fleet Feet Runner's Spot for a complimentary Gait Analysis. A trained staff member will evaluate your running form and gear and make any appropriate recommendations to ensure that you get the most out of your training and continue to run injury free.
  • Tuesdays at the Track! - The remaining Tuesdays will be held at the track. Here we will focus on strength exercises and speed work. Even if your goal is not to become a super fast runner, strength work and speed work are essential to run injury free and improve your skills.
  • Wednesday through Friday - You training will continue based upon your calendar given to you by your coach.
  • Saturday - Group training session. These sessions will rotate throughout the area to different interesting running locations and will usually be held in the A.M. Examples would be a Smith Lake Trail Run, Downtown City Run, and Outskirts Country Run. Saturdays will be higher mileage days.
  • Sunday - Recovery day and weekly conversation with your coach. You will review weekly activities, ask questions, and get answers to your weekly routine.
