Good day all, the Bondi 5 is here and it is just as great as before. There have been very few changes to the shoe from the Bondi 4.
The 5 has a dual layer upper with vents in high sweat areas. There is 3D printing on the higher friction areas to help with durability.
There is a wider toe box on the 5 than the 4, so if you have been running in the Bondi for years, the toe box feels more like the Bondi B.
The sole of the Bondi has had its biggest change to date. There is a deep grove in the heel to help propel the foot forward. There are deeper groves in the forefoot to help with shoe flexibility and responsiveness, and the rubber outsole was made a bit thicker and covers the high impact areas of the shoe.
What is great about this shoe is that it still feels the same, I love the Bondi 5 just as much as my original Bondi B’s. I cannot wait to get my new pair when my 4’s have taken their last step
